My journey to self-discovery began in my year one in school in 2006, I was encouraged by senior worker to join the work force. I started with the ushering department, the first day I officiate it’s like the ground should open and swallow me up, but I keep at it. After some time i take it further to joined the Sunday school department which gave me opportunity to teach every Sunday but it is a bit easier because all the lessons has been prepared just to read out and with little explanation you are done.  The trouble came when about 40 senior students in the church graduated, then the mantle of becoming a minister fell on me, and some of my colleagues, I could remember vividly that my first message in one of the weekly service in 2007 i didn't spent up to 15 minutes before I disappear from the audience. God has a reason for creating you, which is called purpose: purpose is the reasons why something or someone exists. Chairs was created by man for the purpose of sitting, clothes was created by man to cover nakedness,  shoes was created by man for us not to work bear footed or to shook our legs on stones or dirtiness,  pen was created by man to write, eraser was created by man to erase mistakes,  and phones was created as a means of communication. Some years ago after my NYSC and job is not forth coming, I was really frustrated and tired. One morning I just left home, and boarded a bus going to Lagos without any destination in mind. Suddenly, the driver of the vehicle I boarded began to play a song by saheed osupa, as a matter of fact and i don't think I ever listen to any of his song before that day. How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a second class citizen or third class citizen or no class citizen? My experience yesterday evening, I was at Lagos-Ibadan expressway, specifically, at ibafo. Their was a very terrific traffic as you are heading to ibadan, some vehicles decided to move faster to there destination by taking wrong way-facing those going to Lagos. Suddenly some military guys surface and ask all the vehicles to turn back, and even broke some vehicles side mirrors. The vehicles have no choice than to turn back and face the traffic squarely. You may ask, what is new or the lessons in this scenario? The lessons here are many: They lack patient to face the traffic, They want to cut off traffic by delaying others, The traffic they cut still wait for them, They will waste more time and resources before getting to there destination, They are faced with regret, Dear brothers and sisters every short cut you take will definitely wait for you in the future. I was going home from night vigil last Friday, on getting to the bus stop I met several people at the bus stop waiting for bus. Some people has been standing at the bus stop for over 30 minutes or more even myself I stand close to an hour before I eventually got a vehicle. But this is not new it's a usual thing that happened without taking any thought of it, but I do this time. Prayer is a communication/dialogue between man and God.  Man communicate is intentions to God in prayer and God responded by granting that request if satisfied with the fellow making the request.
